Families,

This morning at the high schools building there was a physical altercation involving several students.  The school was put in a hold to allow the school staff and school liaison officers to resolve the situation. Several students were taken into custody by the West Bend Police Department. 

Once the hold was lifted, the school day is now continuing to operate regularly. We thank the staff and other students for their cooperation.  

As mentioned above, students involved in physical altercations are referred to the West Bend Police Department. They are also given school consequences. 
 

As mentioned in a previous message, we are implementing a more structured environment in the high schools building in the morning. This will now be implemented tomorrow, October 5. When students arrive prior to the start of the school day on October 5, they will be directed to a cafeteria or the fieldhouse. This is a requirement for all students who are in the building before the school day begins at 7:15 a.m.
