Tuition Waivers
If a student moves out of the attendance area of the West Bend School District they and their family may wish for the student to continue to attend their WBSD school. This is possible under either a “tuition waiver due to a move” or public school open enrollment or both. Read more about tuition waivers on the Department of Public Instruction website.
Please contact Andrew Sarnow regarding tuition waivers and open enrollment.

Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment is a State of Wisconsin program that allows parents to apply for their children to attend school in a district other than the one in which they reside, known as the resident district. Any Wisconsin resident in 4K to grade 12 may apply to attend a nonresident school district under the open enrollment program.
Parents must submit an application to the nonresident school district during the Open Enrollment Application period for the following school year. The Wisconsin Open Enrollment Application period for the 2024-25 school year begins February 5, 2024 and ends at 4 p.m. on April 30, 2024. By state law, school districts are prohibited from accepting early or late applications.
More information is available on the open enrollment brochure (also available in Spanish and Hmong) and the Wisconsin DPI Resource page.
