The West Bend School District provides a Chromebook as part of our 1:1 device program to support student learning. All students in grades K-12 (In Person, Hybrid, and Virtual through WBVA) will receive a chromebook for student use during the school year. With all K-12 students having devices, this helps support any mode of instruction during the school year. This program allows students to collaborate using technological tools to construct knowledge and personalize learning to meet each and every student’s needs. The program also guarantees that each student will have access to these tools at school and it allows for learning to continue outside the school day using the same technological tools.
The district has selected the Chromebook as the device for all students and an always on hard shell case. Families are provided insurance to cover accidental breakage of the device.
